History of St. Agnes
Comprehensive School
St. Agnes Comprehensive School was officially opened on 11th January 2000 under the leadership of the founding Head Teacher, Sr. Marrietta.
In its first week, the school enrolled just 21 learners, marking the humble beginning of a journey that has since grown remarkably. What started as a small community has blossomed into a respected institution of approximately 540 learners.
Today, St. Agnes is known for academic excellence and strong performance in co-curricular activities, especially music and drama. This success is driven by a dedicated team providing a disciplined, caring, and learner-centered environment.
Foundation
Opened by Sr. Marrietta with 21 learners.
Leadership Growth
Led by Sr. Theresia (2002) and Sr. Basilisa (2004).
Academic Milestone
Registered as an examination centre; first 23 candidates presented.
Tradition Born
First Prize Giving Day held on 27th January.
Steady Stewardship
Successive leadership by Sr. Masha, Sr. Mary Mulwa, Sr. Stella Mumbua, and Sr. Everlyne.
New Era
In December, leadership handed over to the current Head Teacher, Sr. Mungai.
